Movement Instructor Ken Kiehn continues with instruction around better movement and alignment, based upon the disciplines of qigong and Rolfing. The difficulty level is beginner to moderate.
Dr. Ida Rolf revolutionized bodywork with her Structural Integration method. Thousands of people trained in this method, and an issue came up—how do the trained professionals keep their body aligned and healthy while working with other people for hours a day? The exercises that I will show in this short class were Dr. Rolf’s answer to this question. These exercises will release the spine, equalize the length of the limbs, and create greater body coordination while causing no stress on the body and requiring no special strength or flexibility. Come and learn how to balance and extend your way into greater well-being!
